Assumptions

Did I do the right thing? she wondered
She was in love with someone who told that he loved her as well
His actions contradicted his words
Her love was pure with no one sharing it
His so called love was true is what he proved
She was in a dilemma whether to hold on or let go
There was a tug of war between her heart and mind
Her mind wanted to let go
Heart wished to hold on
Lil did she realize, she was holding on to such a relation
Which just broke her bit by bit
She was just being tested
He thought, she wouldn't leave
And she thought he would change
Just that both were blind folded by their own assumptions
Finally, she let go the relation and proved him wrong
His belief shattered, coz he always thought,
She wouldn't leave as she loved him
Yes! Indeed she loved him but not more than her self respect
And she walked off this time forever to a place
Where he couldn't even find her
She just got lost in the crowd
And he searched her every where except  in the crowd amongt people

Love: can't be conquered

"Baby, I Love You! Don't ever leave me" he whispered
She just bent her head and he got his answer
Her eyes revealed all her feelings
He read her eyes and got her reply
The varied time zones, the distance of miles, couldn't decrease their love
They met after years
They reconginzed each other just as their eyes met
He gave her a long tight hug
His head was up so that no one could set eyes on his girl
Her head was down coz she felt safe in his arms
The slight breeze blew a strand of her hair on her face
She looked beautiful than ever
He fell for her once again
She looked at him and all she could see was love, love and only love
The distance never decreased their love
Miles apart they stayed awake to talk to each other
She yearned for his company,
He missed her hugs
Still they were together
Many proposed her as well someone else proposed him
But they both rejected, coz they were in a life time commitment
He handled her mood swings
He consoled her when she cried
He laughed when she smiled
He made her eat sitting at his place
She listened to his words each time
The past time flashed in front of their eyes as they sat together holding hands
After all, being committed to each other in a long distance relation wasn't easy
Their love was strong than the distance
Again, LOVE proved that it's above everything
Not even distance could conquer the power of love

Heart has its own way

"You and I are we together till the end of time" she always told
He promised to never let her go
She loved for whatever he was
He loved her coz she had made him
She had him within her
And he had her inside him
She was that lil baby everyone wished to have but she was only his
He had that father within him whom every daughter wished to have
She made him strong when he felt weak
He made her his all time strength
When the ray of hope flickered she stood by his side
She was that light house who provided light in the sea of life
He reached the shore safely just coz of her
Even in the worst weather of her life she stood firm just for him
She was his reliable backbone on whom he could rely all the time
They were inseparable
He fought with people and turned towards her for help
She wiped his tears and consoled him in a way no one else could convince
He liked her coz she was always patient with him
Never did she lose her calm
It was just him and her who were a part of his lil world
They teased each other in a humorous way
They spoke for whole long day and never got bored
She was a never ending power house of smile, energy and faith
He was a lil child who found warmth in her company
He always longed to be with her and wished time would stop
She probably waited for a day when they would be together forever
And no one would separate them,
Not even time
He jut loved her for no reason
And she loved the fact that he loved her unconditionally
Coz love has no reasons and logic
It's just hearts way to keep them close

His smile, her world

He loved chattering around
She would listen to him with rapt attention
He was low that day and she could make out
Yet he tried hiding but all in vain
She smiled at him and he looked into her eyes
She understood everything
Again it was a fight with his friends which was troubling him
She hated to see him sad
She tried to cheer him up
But he was in no mood to smile
She made a crying puppy face
Instantly he smiled a bit then wide and then wider
Finally he was back to his normal self
She held his hand tightly and he caught her hand ever more tight
Her eyes had given him assurance
Words are needed when silence can't speak
But with them words were the last thing on the list
Coz everytime eyes, smile and silence did it all, simultaneously

Just that Love needs to be true

His eyes were vacant
Her eyes were sharp enough
She noticed the vaccum in his eyes
He tried hiding but couldn't
She read his mind
And soothed his soul
People whom he thought were his own
Just dumped him and walked off
He was left alone in the crowd
He tried running away but ran into her
She just hugged him and he forgot all his pain
He cried like a baby on her lap
She didn't console him instead let him shed tears
Finally, his sobs died down
And he drifted off to sleep
She watched him sleep peacefully
His face reminded her of a Lil baby
She smiled looking at him
And a tear drop just slid down her eye
He woke up to see what happened
He caught her crying
She just brushed off giving some silly reasons
He hugged her even tight
Whole time he didn't let her hand go off
She sat and just watched him sleep
There she was who did nothing
She just cared for him
More than his people did
That's why he prefers to stay with her
Than with those who fake themselves
He liked her coz she was real
And she accepted him as he was
Coz not always one needs to be perfect to be loved
Just that love needs to be true

His baby

She often thought about a guy who had no existence in her life yet
Always dreamt about one single person
Lil did she know that he was with her always
The blowing wind had his presence
The pouring rain had his essence
He missed everything until he saw her
She was lost in a world which had no one except her
He had crept into her world without her knowledge
She had made place in his dreams
Distance wasn't an issue at all
They shared the same dreams at times
Insecurity, over possessiveness had no place in between them
They both loved flowers, nature and enjoyed its beauty together
He was their only son and she was their only daughter
They had no idea about their untold feelings
But their parents knew
She loved irritating him and he loved to get irritated but only by her
They both enjoyed rain
He missed her badly at times
And she would be in touch with him through some means
She never uttered a word but her eyes said it all
Her spectacles made no difference to what she had to say
He could read his eyes easily

His care and her support was the lifeline of their relationship

She was bubbly, cheerful, happy-go-lucky types
He was quite, decent, shy kind
They both met at unexpected time, unexpected day in an unexpected way
That day onwards their life just changed
Nothing was the same

She loved chocolates
And he loved to watch her enjoy her chocolates
He got them for her each day without fail

His presence had a positive impact on her

And listen to the crashing waves
The waves touched their feet and went back
At each step, they left their foot prints

The size of his smile told how important she was

"His happiness"

She was his childhood crush
He was her first love
They both grew up together
Without knowing one another's feelings
They crossed each others mind atleast once in a day
She was with him at each step from then
He held her firm always
They never expressed their feelings
But their eyes spoke everything
People teased them, thought of them as a couple
Again, it was immature of them to pay heed to other's words
His mom loved her and her mom respected him

One knew the reason behind another's smile or tears
They stared at each other for hours and never got tired

Finally, she decided to give words to her feelings
She blurted her heart out one fine day
And he just "friendzoned" her
He had different plans & thought her as a friend
She was hurt but not weak to beg in front of him
He always thought she was different from him
She was sure he was the same old guy whom she knew before
He just walked off as if nothing happened
She smiled seeing him happy
After all, he was her first love ever
She decided against expressing her feelings once again
Coz for her, it was only his happiness which mattered
Even though she wasn't the reason for it
She was satisfied seeing him smile
After knowing that someone made him smile
The way she always wanted him to smile
Not all love stories need happy endings always

Love

She was lost in her own world
Unknowingly tears flowed from her eyes
She was totally broken but didn't show it to anyone
She felt someone's presence behind her
A hand touched her shoulder
She turned back & it was him
She hurriedly wiped her tears & smiled at him
He knew something was wrong but didn't know what
She was going through another rough day of her life
He just hugged her tightly
All she needed was a hug to break down again
She wept and sobbed like a lil baby in his arms
He held her tighter and she hugged back even more tightly
She was missing something but yet again didn't know what
He kissed her forehead and whispered,
"I'M THERE WITH YOU, MY BABY, NO MATTER WHAT"
She smiled with her eyes moist
Not bcoz he understood her silence
Just coz she wasn't alone this time to face hardships of her life
After years, someone was with her, stood along her side
Which meant a lot and gave her an assurance
After all, Love is not only about happiness
It's all about being together in the worst seasons of life

Mistakes

The clock ticked away
Seconds passed by as if it was an hour
Minutes went by as if they were days
I was waiting for you
But you never came
Your talks made me smile even when i was in tears
Your smiling face gave me some relief at the end of the day
I would eagarly wait to see you the next day
But you were too busy to even look at my face
One day I walked off to a place where you cannot search me
Just to see if you really cared
Your face came in front of my eyes each time I blinked
Its just YOU who had a big place in my lil heart
Coz you loved me when I didn't love myself
Before you used to be on time and I would be late
Later, I came before time but you never took the trouble of coming
That day you saw me for the last time I suppose
I guess its time for us to part ways
You are a part of my past
I'll make sure you don't make it into my future
Coz a single mistake can't decide my entire my life

Un-named relations

Songs soothed their souls
They spoke for hours and never got bored
He believed her smile was the reason for his changed behaviour
And she thought his presence made all the difference
They had same likes and dislikes
Naughty he was and she was like a child in front of him
They spoke about everything under the sun
He never hesitated to hug her
And she never stopped herself from troubling him
Not a day would pass when they both didn't talk
Both had great interest in cooking
She wanted to eat food cooked by him
And he wished to taste the dish prepared by her
They met some months back
And it felt as though they have always known each other
Her smile made his day and his laughter made her smile wider
After all not all relations have a name
Some relations are the best when they aren't named
But are just felt by heart ....
