Save Amazonia

They're dying untimely death
The smoke covers the city during the broad day light
The innocent floara and fauna,
Have been screaming for help
It's weeks now, Amazonia is burning down

Don't you feel the burn in your lungs?
Don't you feel the heat?
Can't you hear the screams?
Can't you imagine the scenario?

The greens are burning down to ashes
The wind carrying a small flame
To the farther corner, leaving ashes behind
Amazonian Rainforests are falling down

God alone knows how many generations have been working on it
How many innocent lives the fire has claimed by now
The difference between the day and the night is forgotten
And how many unique species have been dead by now

Can you see the tears?
Can you understand the extent of loss?
The forests don't speak
The trees don't talk

Even if someone mistreats the plants in our garden,
We yell at them, shout at them
Now, whom should we yell at?
Now, whom should we blame?

At the thought of death rate,
My eyes moist and a chill goes down my spine
Kilometers away, the smoke is filling spaces
The fire, doesn't stop at all

The families of all those animals are birds,
Are dying down, or probably have been separated
God can only save them all
What can we do? You might ask me straight

We can sit here and pray
For the fire to die down soon
The destruction caused by cutting down of trees,
Is way too much to handle
Now, in a row, at a stretch all those tall trees stand burnt and uprooted

Oh Lord, save them all
Give us the strength to over come the huge destruction and loss
The images, photographs are extremely heart wrenching and devastating
Oh God, please save Amazonian Rainforests is all that I pray for
