Alone

I feel lonely in the dark sky
A crowd is with me yet i feel left out
Something's bothering me
Heart is restless
There's no peace of mind
More the people more i feel lonely
Moon smiles i smile back
He know what i feel
He tries to comfort me
Plays around with the clouds
But all in vain
There are numerous stars in the night sky
But they dont excite me
The trees also stand quietly
And watch me cry
Soul craves for love
Mind needs peace
Heart needs rest
Running away has become a habit
Standing in front of the mirror
I ask my reflection "whats wrong"
Silence is what i get in response
I look deep into my eyes
And they say it all
Tiring it is to stick a fake smile
When all i wanna do is hug someone and cry
The cool breeze doesn't make me shiver anymore
I stare for hours at nothing but the void space
My pillow knows everything
I smile, laugh in the bright day light
But i cry myself to sleep at night
I carese my head
Calm my soul
Rest my heart
Put my mind at peace
And try to sleep yet again sleeps is miles away
I stare at the ceiling whole night
I'm wide awake until dawn breaks
My routine starts again
The same people, same fake smile of mine
But after all its a new day with the same old schedule

A closed chapter

Deep in my thoughts i think of you
I put myself to sleep because your memories still haunt me
I had never seen myself so helpless before
Life became my teacher
I learnt to get up after the fall
Badly injuried i was but i managed to walk
I kept on walking without a pause
Fed up i am with this job of pushing away the haunting memories
At times some of your words ring in my ears
Heart remembers each promise which you did
Only to reliase that they were all made to be broken
You blamed me that i cheated you
But the truth is i was loyal and you betrayed me
You broke my trust and shattered my heart into pieces
I am proud about my heart
Because even after being hurt, cheated & broken into pieces
It beats.....
Beats for one person now and that is me....
The cuts hurt at times
But it doesn't ache
The wounds get fresh like green grass
But i don't care
For me you are nothing but a closed chapter in my novel of life......

Mother: a fairy

She's a fairy
Who showers you with unconditional love
She doesn't bother about herself
But is worried about you
It kills her to see you shattered
She prays for your well being everyday
The day you were born
Her world started revolving around you
Along with your birth she was reborn
You were in her arms
When she kissed you on your forehead
Along with that kiss she gave away all her happiness
You may hurt her, but she never hurts you back
You may hate her, but she'll only love you even more
You may choose to go away from her
She'll never push you at any cost
She's a tresure sent by God
Preserve her
People may leave you
But she won't
She smiled seeing you cry
On the day you were born
That was the last time her lips curved into a smile
Seeing tears in your eyes
After that day till date
She never laughs when you cry
You might not be there for her
When she needs nobody except you
No matter what you'll always find her beside you
Her heart beats only for two people
One is YOU and other one is her better half
She's wide awake when you are sick
She sleeps like a child on your lap at times
You needn't spend your earnings on her
Neither does she expect you to do so
She needs your precious wealth

She needs a bit of time in your busy schedule
Never did she say she's busy

Then why do you pretend to be busy

Then why don't you treat her like one..??
